Toyota has partnered with HappyCow, an online platform that helps those who are looking for vegan and vegetarian food across the U.S. With this partnership the new Toyota and Lexus vehicle destination assist will use HappyCow to find a place near you.
You must be thinking about how it will work? All you have to do is press the Destination Assist button on the infotainment system it will drive you to a live representative to assist the car owner query. Now, mention that you are looking for a vegan or vegetarian restaurant then the live representative will use HappyCow to find the nearest one.
The Destination Assist feature is offered for one year in the new purchase or leased Toyota vehicles and in Lexus vehicles, it is offered for three years. For now, the HappyCow service is only for U.S. customers. However, the automaker is a thing to make it global.
