2021 Audi R8 added rear-wheel-drive configuration

Are you missing the rear-wheel-drive limited edition of Audi R8 that came in 2018? Well, the good news is that the rear-wheel-drive variant for Audi R8 will be permanently added to its U.S. lineup. It will be offered in both Spyder and the couple along with Quattro all-wheel-drive system for the year 2021.

When it first debut in 2018 it was a limited-edition; only 999 models were made out of which 320 were available in the states. The configuration for the rear-wheel 2021 Audi R8 will be the same 5.2 Liter V10 engine producing 532 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. Few changes are done in R8 appearance that includes new carbon finishes on side blades, LED taillights with dynamic signals, and rear spoiler on the performance model. The rear-wheel-drive coupe goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and the Spyder go in 3.7 seconds and the Quattro does the same in 0.4 seconds. It is faster than both Spyder and Coupe.

The rear-wheel-drive configuration will not be offered in the performance model; only all-wheel-drive will be there. In rear-wheel drive, the cost of the Coupe and Spyder is $144,195 and $156,395, and the Quattro Coupe and Spyder cost is $198,195 and $210,395.
