My experience with this dealership, on first visit, has been great! Noticing from when I walked into the service center, customers were well known to the staff and complimenting them for the ease of service. Being a first time customer at the this dealership, this is a great first impression. The maintenance for my vehicle wasn't long nor was it expensive and I look forward to continuing to bring my vehicle here in the future. Hopefully, I will be buying next car from Porter Chevrolet within the next year or so!

What a positive car buying experience we had this evening. Jim our salesman was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! He truly is an asset to the company! Bob complete our paper work quickly and efficiently! If you are looking to purchase a new vehicle, I would definitely recommend going here!

Troy who sold me my car was great! He took great care of me and found me exactly what I wanted while also be patient with me. He stayed 3 hours later than he was scheduled just to make sure everything went smoothly and all my questions were answered. I highly recommend him!

Service to my vehicle has always been great. I feel confident that the mechanics are using certified GM parts. Unfortunately the wait time for service is entirely too long. I show up a half hour to an hour before the service department opens and still wait 3 hours to have my vehicle serviced.

Bought a Trail Blazer through Porter Chevrolet 2 weeks ago. Great experience!, from the Sales Person, Vanessa, the Finance Person, through the Manager. Told them what we needed and they got it done in less than 2 hours. No back and forth in discussions or visits to make the deal happen. Love it! And very happy so far with our Trail Blazer!

For those who are looking to buy a vehicle, I would not recommend Porter Chevy located in Newark , DE. I brought a 2014 Mercedes in mint condition & brought it back in mint condition. I had no accidents, recently inspected, low mileage with extended warranty still in effect to trade in for a new vehicle. They had the audacity to offer me only $6000 when I paid over 4x that amount last year. Kelly blue book valued it at approximately 17,000; why do they think that’s a fair offer?

I inquired about a 2017 Corvette Grand Sport recently. Via email, a salesman asked for and received information from me. Hours went by with no reply. I sent a follow-up email asking if he received the information, again no reply. Eventually, I went to their website chat system in order to ascertain a time for when I can hear back about the car I was interested in. I was told that the salesman was going to get back to me as soon as he can, and that he was probably busy. I never heard back. As a result of the salesman’s inaction, I found a 2017 Corvette Grand Sport for $7,000 less than what they were asking. Thank you Porter Chevrolet! Actually, I should rate you 5 stars. I just don’t want to mislead any possible future customers.

Problem was not resolved. Not dealer related but warranty items should NOT include a 'deductible' charge, or ANY charge at all. This is not a warranty. If an item is defective within the warranty period it should be covered, replaced, and fixed at NO CHARGE. That's what a guarantee or warranty or your product, service, and/or workmanship is for and about. My other cars never charged me for anything covered under warranty. To charge someone $100 to fix your manufacturing issues is absurd and insulting. Plus my issue isn't even resolved. Therefore I'm losing more of my time - which does have value, ask my employer - to return to have it 'fixed' again. And I paid for a part that was part of the troubleshooting, that was not necessarily 'bad', in order to avoid having that be another reason the error wasn't 'resolve' the first time. Bad businessmanship.
