If you ever need a new or used BMW Edgar Martinez is your guy. I preorder an i4 a year and half ago, that I finally picked up, and he the rest of the team did a great job walking me through the whole process and keeping me updated. They also were very professional and didn’t try to pull any fast ones on me like other dealers have in the past. If/when I buy another car I’m definitely coming back here.

Leased one of BMW's highest end vehicles, the 2019 i8 Roadster, with all the bells and whistles, from this dealership. While the initial contact and sales process was fairly smooth, can't say the same after signing the contract. It took an entire month for me to get the car, with tons of haggling with the now finance manager (Matt Correa), to finally get the car on the road. Understood it was a complex sale being am on the east coast, but everything from shipping to plates to registration was a ton of work, process, and delay. While the car drove nicely through my 3-year / 30K mile lease, at the end, BMW expected the car back on the date the contract was signed, not the date could actually drive the car, so that resulted in a full month lost of the lease. Matt refused to help me at all and deferred to BMW Financial Services, who also refused to help, and referred me to customer relations, who also refused to help, who referred me back to this dealership. Spoke with Mark Bachman who is the dealership manager, last straw and asked for just a month's reimbursement for the last measly COVID delayed payment at the end. He refused as well. Won't lease another car from BMW. Way to represent the brand to a first time customer. Beware.

Matthew took time to explain the lease contract and was very helpful resolvíng an issue I had. Matthew is also hot and should learn pickleball. Salesman: Joseph Murguia Finance Manager: Jonathan Zarratee Sales Manager Rudy Correa My wife and I went to look at a truck and ended up buying it. Jonathan met us outside and took us straight to the truck and let us take it for a test ride. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle and had great customer service. Rudy worked with us on the price of our trade-in and the price of the vehicle to get it to a point I was comfortable. He was also able to work in a good deal on the warranty. Jonathan was helpful with all of the paperwork and working with us on getting the vehicle that night (we froze our credit and didn't unfreeze it because we weren't expecting to buy that night) All of this is typically expected...What set them apart is that their customer service didn't end after the sale. It did require a bit of a nudge to remind them what we needed but they always followed through. They located the second key, retrieved all of the specs for the vehicle (I was looking for the towing capacity), and said they would get us a front licence plate carrier at no-cost (still waiting on this one...more nudging). They were very accommodating to my pregnant wife and 14 month old child during the entire process. The ONLY negative of my experience with BMW of Santa Maria is they advertised the truck with larger trailer mirrors (they usually run $250-300) and I liked them because I tow a lot. The truck did not have them on there, though. When I asked Rudy about it he said something about the quality check of all of their vehicles and they probably had to remove them for that reason. Between the ad going up and use buying the truck in a couple of days...they somehow managed to get the OEM mirrors with matching paint. I have a feeling they put the trailer mirrors on there to make the truck appear larger in the advertisement. This was somewhat irritating but it didn't kill the overall satisfaction. They will take care of you if you go here. It may require some nudging to get stuff done, but they work with you.

The experience today in finalizing all the paperwork to actually sitting in my new BMW and experiencing it was great. Fast, simple, and painless process. Ultimately, it was a great experience and would highly recommend!
