Audi e-Tron GT Sports Sedan Gets RS Trim

The 2021 Audi e-Tron GT sports sedan will debut later this year and will join the Audi electric lineup. They also announced that a high-performance RS model will be coming with it.

It will be powered by two electric motors that will produce 590 horsepower and a cooling system to cool the battery without compromising acceleration. It will have Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system which sent power directly to all four wheels. Also, Audi is clamming that the e-Tron GT will reach 60 mpg in 3.5 seconds. Although no information on the high-performance RS model is not released yet.

The electric motors don’t make a sound; for that Audi has developed an artificial sound that plays on exterior speaker and the change in sound depends on the drive mode isn’t is exciting? There is also a package is available for the sound that adds an additional exterior speaker at the rear side with two inside the rear doors. Once the e-Tron GT winds up it reminds of the turbine engine. We have heard that the RS e-Tron will have its own distinct sounds. It has aluminum and steel body with option for carbon-fiber roof.

The production of the 2021 Audi e-Tron GT will begin at the end of this fall at Audi’s Bollinger Hofe plant in Germany where the Audi R8 supercar is built. It will arrive in the U.S. next year; with starting price around $100,000.
