Lucid has shared the details of entry-level Air called the Air Pure while we all were waiting for details of tri-motor performance. The electric vehicle starts at $77,400.
Lucid claims that it has a range of 406 miles and the engine can produce 480 horsepower with rear-wheel-drive. The All-wheel-drive option is also available but its pricing is not revealed. The Lucid Air EV will join the Touring, Grand Touring, and launch model dream edition. These three are supposed to come to market in 2021 with Dream Edition coming in spring. The automaker is also giving chance to build the least expensive Lucid Air on its site but you have to wait for some time as it is expected to arrive in early 2022.
Although the reservation only requires a $300 deposit and customers who reserve any of four trims of Lucid Air will get three years of free charging on Electrify America nationwide network of ultra high speed charging stations. This and other coming cars will be built in the company’s factory in Casa Grande, Arizona. This factory will have the capacity of building 30,000 units per year and will expand to 40,000 units a year.
